Observing Waste on Streets

Saša Babič, Ph. D., has been observing places where people throw away waste also in other parts of the world – when travelling was still possible. Waste can be seen on the streets as well as by rivers and lawns by sidewalks. In some places, waste seems to be an integral part of landscape. Her research into the meaning of waste in language will be soon published in a special issue of Traditiones journal.
