"Smart" Trashcan v2

As part of the development activities of the Invisible Life of Waste project at the Multimedia Laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana, we are developing a prototype of a smart garbage bin. Technically, the container will be able to measure the amount and weight of waste and have the ability to identify users via RFID technology. The human aspect is also important, so we will give the container a playful personality that will be reflected in communication with users through screens, beeps, and touch interactions, different for different users. The purpose is unobtrusive and fun to users, i.e. to make people in the home or business environment aware that waste by dumping does not "disappear" and have an impact on our common environment.
