The possibilities of package-free consumption

One of the topics that we examine in our project is how people try to reduce the
amount of waste they produce.  Tatiana Bajuk Senčar is focusing on changing consumer
practices and the problem of plastic waste.  For example, what are the options that
people in Ljubljana have if they wish to make  purchases without plastic packaging?
Among the growing number of options becoming available she also visited Slovenia's
first package-free store, Rifuzl, located in Ljubljana's Šiška neighborhood.  Since
it opened its door in 2018, Rifuzl has been offering its customers an ever-expanding
range of products without plastic packaging - a range of food and beverages, cleaning
products, cosmetic/grooming products.   The results of her research on changing
consumption practices will be published in the next issue of the journal Traditiones.
