When we get tired of clothes ...
The textile industry is one of the largest polluters. The Europeans consume on average 26 kg of textiles per person per year that makes textile production linked to private consumption the fifth largest source of CO2 emissions. What happened to all these clothing, footwear and household textiles when we got tired of them? In order to better understand the textile awareness of the citizens of Ljubljana, we prepared a survey to find out how they treat textile waste - how many textile pieces discard, where they put them, which textile pieces are most often discarded.
